The ceremony was a historic event in itself, as many Arab and African soccer

For the second time after the historicfarewell of the Egyptian goal keeper, Ahmed Shobier, Egyptian television authorities allowed the broadcast of the whole festival, which took more than three hours.Well-known Egyptian singers appeared, such as Mohammed Mounir - who is called the "Black Diamond of the Egyptian Song" and a close friend of Youssef - and the dark-skinned, attractive singer Gawaher put in an appearance and sang a special tribute written especially for "Tigana."
