Singing Sensataion Gawaher is originally from Port Sudan,Sudan. While growing up in Northern Sudan she earned a taste for music. She started her career with Nubian/Sudanese Album "Hakayah Ghareeba". "Hakaya Ghareeba" earned the hearts of many Egyptians especially the Nubian community. To boost her career, Gawaher sang and bellydanced in Aswan. While in Aswan,Gawaher's taste of music changed,she liked the Sha'abi music very much. She recorded the Album Ala El Kornish which is not Nubian or Sudanese stlye it is Sha'abi.In "Ala El Kornish"she has a song called "Abu Ali" which is for her love of Hasan. Due to her love of Sha'abi, she recorded another album,"Telephonak". But this time in a whole new place,in Cairo. In Cairo, Gawaher met famous Egyptian singers Hamada Hilal and Easam Kereeka who help in the production of the Album by writing songs and help in singing.It has been 6 years in Cairo and Gawaher missed her homeland. Gawaher traveled to Sudan and preformed "Ala El Kornish and Telephonak" in Khartoum and her home town Port Sudan.When she returned to Egypt she recorded her album "Samara" in dedication for the Sudanese and their brownish color. But after all Egyptians have done for her she dedicated a song on the album called Haylooh(the tan Egyptians). On the Album "Samara" Gawaher has a duet with Egyptian songwriter/singer Easam Kareeka on the song Don Jowan. Afeter living in Egypt for so long and had an advantange of already knowing the culture because of her "Nile Country" heritage she recorded her last album yet,"Habeeb Al Qalb". Which is in total Egyptian,Sha'abi,fast dance music.Currently Gawaher is living in Cairo and can be hired for weddings,special events and etc. She is great for getting the audience get of their hines and dance.
